Hydro Floss®
The Hydro Floss® oral irrigator is the most effective home treatment device of its kind. It cleans under the gums and between teeth, removing plaque and food debris and reducing the harmful bacteria that brushing and flossing leave behind. This thorough cleaning process prevents infection which can lead to gum disease and gingivitis.
Hydro Floss® not only cleans teeth and gums, it uses magnetics to affect the water to inhibit plaque and oral bacteria from adhering to the surface of the teeth. Clinical studies* show that the Hydro Floss® oral irrigator is 64% more effective than non-magnetic irrigators at reducing plaque and calculus.
- A pulsating stream of 1,200 pulses per minute disrupts plaque biofilm and flushes food and bacteria from the surface of the teeth, between teeth, and from hard-to-reach areas.

Treat the Cause, Not Just the Symptoms with Hydro Floss®
More than half of the adults in the U.S. have some form of gum disease. Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss and has been linked to many serious health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. For some patients, daily brushing and flossing are simply not enough to prevent gum disease.
That's where Hydro Floss® comes in...
- Oral irrigation has been clinically proven as an effective alternative to dental floss for reducing bleeding, gingival inflammation, and plaque removal.
- Hydro Floss® has been clinically proven to be nearly twice as effective as non-magnetic irrigators at removing plaque, bacteria and calculus.
- Hydro Floss® uses plain water to achieve remarkable results for a more holistic approach to oral hygiene.
- Promotes healing of bleeding gums and periodontal pockets.
- Cleans braces, bridgework, crowns and implants better than brushing and flossing alone.
- Easily cleans below the gum line where brushing and flossing cannot reach.
- Reduces inflammation of gum tissue.
- Aids in healing after dental procedures.
What makes Hydro Floss® the best choice in oral irrigation?
Oral irrigation has been proven to be an effective tool for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. The Hydro Floss® raises that level of effectiveness by combining two proven methods - oral irrigation and magnetics. There are naturally occurring minerals in most liquids. Magnetics prevents these minerals from changing from a liquid into a solid state. When this principle is applied to an oral irrigator it interrupts the process by which plaque and calculus adhere to and accumulate on the surface of the tooth. If bacteria can't stick to the tooth, it can't cause problems. The Hydro Floss® has been clinically proven to be twice as effective as non-magnetic irrigators at reducing plaque and calculus. One study showed that the control group using the Hydro Floss® had a 44% greater reduction in calculus volume. A second study confirmed and improved on these findings with Hydro Floss® users having 64% less calculus compared to the group using a non-magnetic irrigator.

Gum Disease & Diabetes - A Two Way Street
Exploring the link between gum disease & diabetes.
Been using one since 2000! At .y last dental visit, they found no cavities!
I've been using one for 15 tears but I decided to get a new one just in case my old one breaks down.
Over the years I Have found Hydro Floss very fine and helpful The new one I purchased, replacing an old and damaged one - was just as fine as the previous one. Putting 5 capfuls of Peroxide in with the water My dentist's suggestion), and refilling with more water when the tank becomes half empty, first controlled and then cured my gum disease. Now it is a good preventive of reoccurrence.
I've been using a Hydro Floss since around 1990. My gums are great, It was recommended to me by my dentist. I've recommended it to many friends over the years, no one has ever said they didn't love it. You won't be disappointed!
.
This is my 3rd unit and does not seem as powerful as the previous 2 units. Also, the tips seems to spin around more in the new unit.
